Kristel Poole, General Manager


Born in Los Angeles and raised on the Northern Neck of Virginia, Kristel Poole is a bar and restaurant professional with an appetite for fresh oysters and fine wines. She earned her degree at the University of Virginia (BA, 2005) and her Introductory level sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers (2016). Kristel is a seasoned event director and bar manager who has worked with award-winning Richmond-area restaurants, including a AAA Four Diamond establishment. Previously, she was the Assistant General Manager & Events Director at Shagbark and Restaurant Manager at Antler & Fin. Kristel resides in Jackson Ward, near Graffiato, and is a founder of the Chefs in Shape program. She’ll probably have a tidbit of cocktail knowledge to share if you’re willing to listen, but don’t worry, she’ll always offer you the drink first.
